Horseback trail rides are available into the nearby Rio Grande National Forest with our experienced wranglers. We offer 1, 2, or 3 hour rides.
The landscape and wildlife are willing subjects for the artist or photographer.
Side trips to the Great Sand Dunes National Monument, near Alamosa; world famous Stations of the Cross sculptures in San Luis; championship golf courses in Alamosa (45 minutes away); as well as Santa Fe (2 hours); Taos (1 hour); river rafting; Tierra Wools. Ride the world famous Cumbres & Toltec scenic railroad, a narrow gauge line running from Antonito, CO to Chama, NM.
In season, Aug-Nov, elk and deer hunting; snowmobiling and cross-country skiing, only a twenty minute drive from the ranch.
Children and adults enjoy our ranch animals - goats, donkeys, sheep, and horses. Children 12 and under have their own privately stocked fishing pond.

The Conejos Ranch is located in Game Management Unit 81. Hunters can stay in one of our 8 B&B rooms, or we have 2 cabins open and fully winterized. The "Willow Cabin" sleeps 7 and has electric heat. The "Big Spruce Cabin" sleeps 12 and has a wood burning stove and electric heat. Both cabins have completely modern kitchens and bathrooms.
